Daniel Day

Daniel Day joined the AFN Heidelberg team in April of ’05. This is his second stint with the American Forces Network. As a soldier, he served as reporter, disc jockey, and anchor with AFN Yokota in Japan. Daniel also worked as a TV photojournalist at WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi and WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky. He’s happily married with the former Kasumi Yoshihara of Ome, Japan. Daniel was born and raised in Randolph, Minnesota. He holds a degree in film from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has two cats named Peanuts and Cocoa.
