He joined the Army in 1999, graduated basic training at Fort Benning GA, then attended basic still photography and basic video documentation at the Defence information school in Fort Meade MD. Then he was assigned to Army Combat Camera in late 2000. While assigned to combat camera was deployed in support of Operation Eduring Freedom and twice to Operation Iraqi Freedom. He attended Airborne school in early 2001. Now he is assigned to AFN Heidelberg.
